Kavindi’s research interests include molecular biology and basic science research. She is skilled in cell culture, RNA extraction, cDNA synthesis and qPCR, and currently learning flow cytometry analysis and zebrafish work. Kavindi would like the opportunity to apply her research commercially and gain new skills.
Key Skills
- Research laboratory experience – qPCR, tissue culture, RNA extraction, cDNA synthesis, Media and reagent preparation
- Coordinating and preparing materials for experiments
- Undertaking data collection and analysis
- Record keeping and documentation skills
- Performing key sample processing activities including centrifuging, pipetting and freezing
- Maintaining lab equipment and general housekeeping duties
