Azadeh has a substantial background in the Events Tourism with an emphasis on social sustainability or social socio-psychological impacts of events. Azadeh’s research works have focused on employees’ perceptions towards the social outcomes of major events in host communities as well as tourists’ behaviours and motives based on market segmentations in the context of small-scale sport events

An internship experience will enable Azadeh to better understand the current issues in the events and tourism industry and apply theoretical and practical aspects to improve real-organisations operational principles. Her previous experience in both research projects and industry can provide value to address essential needs which would contribute to assisting Australian events, and tourism organisations.

Key Skills

  • Technical skills including research methods, data collection, and data analysis using Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) and Endnote.
  • Managerial skills in areas including tourism, management, and marketing such event planning and marketing as well as tour planning and operation, and tour marketing.
  • Soft skills including critical thinking, problem solving, professional writing, teamwork, digital literacy, leadership, professional attitude, work ethic, and intercultural fluency.
