Modelling the effect of grazing pressure on fuel loads on Yanakie Isthmus
Mentor: Prof John Hearne, RMIT
Intern: Paul Moloney, RMIT
Industry Partner: Dr John Wright, Parks Victoria
Project Duration: December 2010 to March 2011
This project will explore the likelihood that different levels of grazing reduction targeting different combinations of species enables sufficient fuel loads to develop within five to seven years of a burn. The project is not concerned with techniques used to reduce grazing pressure or costs of different management techniques.
