Valerio is eager to reinforce multidisciplinary skills relating to pharmaceutical development, testing, optimisation and marketing. Through his research, he has developed knowledge in the field of cancer treatment, including theranostics and cannabinoid therapies, as well as other diseases e.g. inflammation and trypanosomiasis. He is skilled in chemical modelling, chemical synthesis and biological activity testing, and wishes to expand his range of knowledge and skills.
Asad's current research interests include computer vision and machine learning for ecological monitoring applications, especially monitoring bees. He has a diverse research background, is skilled in machine learning and deep learning, and has extensive experience using Python and Matlab for problem-solving.
Amanda Johnson completed her BAppSc in Biotechnology and Molecular biology at The Queensland University of Technology, Australia and has a Masters in Agricultural Science, in Plant protection from the University of Queensland. She worked for Queensland University, the Plant Molecular Laboratory, AgResearch and Sugar Research Australia, until she started her PhD at QUT. Amanda's current work at QUT focuses on fruit tree Genomics in Australian fruit trees to improve breeding time.
Fatima has a strong background in the application of quantitative modeling and data analysis to various problems. She has conducted interdisciplinary research in areas related to business and economics, analytics, engineering, and science. Fatima has used programming languages such as Python and R and have created a substantial publication portfolio.
Hakeem's interest include image processing, Artificial intelligence and cybersecurity. He has skills in data analysis, machine learning and has extensive skills in the use of Python, C, Javascript and SQL. Hakeem will like the opportunity to solve real world problems that directly impacts peoples lives.
Burhan is a Mechanical Engineer keen to utilize his research and CAD modeling skills along with the hands-on experience gained during previous industrial experiences and PhD study.
Kirill’s research interests include engineering problem solving and medical device development. He is experienced in mathematical analysis and numerical modelling using commercial software and programming languages. He has a broad background in areas of mechanical, acoustical, electrical, optical, and nano engineering and experimental/lab work.
Magdi Hanna ' research interests include materials deposition by thermal spray, cold spray and laser deposition. He is also skilled in fabrication composite powders and materials design for ultra-high temperature application in aerospace and defense for additive manufacturing. He developed ceramic sealer to enhance the mechanical and corrosion properties in additive manufacturing deposits.
Akbar's research interests are machine learning, privacy, intelligent transportation systems, and Internet of Things (IoT). He specialises in the design, analysis, and implementation of machine learning approaches to solve challenges in different applications.
