Simon’s research interests include photosensitive molecules, carbon materials, sustainable energy harvesting, and electrochemical energy storage. He is skilled in material characterisations and analytical techniques such as structure analysis (XRD, NMR) and spectroscopies (SEM, UV-vis, Raman, FTIR, AFM, etc.). He also has extensive experience in design engineering solutions based on material properties. Simon would like to develop workplace skills and engage in the research and problem-solving process surrounding industry challenges.
