Xilin’s research focuses on the embodied carbon assessment, sustainable integrated design, and computational design optimization for underground infrastructures, by utilising digital engineering tools such as BIM, for the goal of sustainability and Net Zero.
Xilin is skilled in conventional geotechnical analysis using empirical, analytical, and numerical methods, and has extensive experience of integrating such methods in digitalized BIM platform. Xilin would like to gain practical experience to apply his research in real projects.
