Sohan Gunawardena is a Ph.D. student and sessional academic at the School of Computer Science, Queensland University of Technology (QUT). His research focuses on Multi-View Data Learning with Deep Matrix Factorization, where he explores unsupervised and semi-supervised techniques to enhance clustering using text and omics data within machine learning algorithms. With a background as a software engineer for 7 years, he brings a wealth of practical experience to his academic pursuits.
