Prasanth Babu is a PhD Research Student of IIT Bombay Monash Research Academy, currently working on the project titled, “Microplastics in the aquatic environment: Fate and Transport dynamics”.
He currently works at Department of Civil Engineering, Monash University on this inter disciplinary project. This project aims to estimate the presence of micro and nanoplastics in our near water bodies, and also to understand microbial interaction dynamics that facilitates the biofilm formation with surface chemistry of microplastics in the water environment.
