Omer’s research interests include the weaponisation of space by the USA and China. His research also revolves around the commercial utility of space, which deciphers the dual utilisation of space that is weaponisation and the commercial benefits of space.
His PhD is on US-China Arms Race in space, Implications on Global Security (a case study of Pakistan-India).
