Application of Research to Industry

I am an experienced Researcher who has worked with indigenous communities in local-driven projects in relation to climate change adaptation & mitigation, resilience education, and indigenous knowledge. I am accustomed to assisting professors/lead researchers in conducting Literature Reviews, fieldwork, data collection such as interviews, questionnaires, surveys, talanoa, & focused group discussions and participatory action research (PAR) activities. I am organized and flexible with proven skill in research, data collection and administrative support. I believe these skills are beneficial for organisations that work with indigenous communities, organisations that requires research on climate change related issues in indigenous communities, and organisation that need cultural advice. With these skills, any organisation will have a better understanding of the role culture can play in different spaces, especially as a cultural adviser and cultural liaison officer. Furthermore, these skills have enabled me to be an organized and dependable candidate, manage multiple priorities with a positive attitude, and willingness to take on added responsibilities to meet team goals.
