Fernando’s research interest includes bioinformatics, metagenomics, synthetic biology, and the implementation of microbes as sustainable production systems. He is also skilled in performing training (communications skills), and he has expertise in the industry working for multinational industries. Fernando would like to apply his skills (qPCR, sequencing, bioinformatic, metagenomics, synthetic biology) and industry expertise (Thermo Fisher and ClearLabs) to the Australian market.
