Emma is a PhD candidate in the Biomedical Informatics and Digital Health theme at the University of Sydney. She works within the Cyberpsychology Research Group to investigate the ways that technology impact behaviour.
Emma’s PhD is investigating the longitudinal impacts of video gaming on well-being. Specifically, looking at the stability of social connectedness and how we can increase referral and mental health help-seeking behaviour among this group.
Emma is passionate about the wellbeing of young people. By contributing to and evaluating the evidence base in Cyberpsychology, she hopes to be able to better the psychological outcomes of key populations.
