Dasitha is a PhD researcher at the University of Melbourne studying hydrogen-based direct reduction of metal oxides, using computational modelling to understand how defects and reduction byproducts govern reduction efficiency. He is skilled in developing custom algorithms for simulations and molecular dynamics methods, LAMMPS scripting and Python coding. He is seeking an internship to apply this expertise to real-world metallurgical and decarbonization challenges.
