The research conducted by Gin is focused on addressing real-world challenges that are often hindered by data silos and ownership issues. These challenges require the application of techniques such as parallel learning and multi-model learning without data-sharing. Before pursuing research, Gin worked as a government employee and has gained 10 years of experience in programming (Java and Python) and database management (Oracle and MySQL). Gin is eager to leverage her research expertise for commercial purposes.
