Female PhD Industry Placements funding by Women in STEM and Entrepreneurship Grants
Through the University of Wollongong (UoW) LIFT grant, the University have the agreed to place interns via APR Intern Program with their Industry Partners for 3 month placements. The WiSE/LIFT funding covers the full cost of the internship.
The WiSE funding covers the $5,000 per student, the industry partner has no cost.
PROJECT COSTS
The UoW LIFT program funds the first three months of the Industry Partner’s APR Intern, (internship) then the options after that are $1,000 + $3,000/per additional month.
4-month internship: $4K + GST
5-month internship: $7K + GST
6-month internship: $10K + GST
*Full project includes a monthly stipend for the HDR candidate.

INDUSTRY ELIGIBILITY
To be eligible you must host a female higher degree research candidate from a STEM field, enrolled at the University of Wollongong. APR Intern and UOW will assist with intern selection.
One UoW LIFT Intern Voucher per business per year
Project subject to UoW review and approval
