Daniel Johnston is a PhD student at UNSW Canberra specialising in number theory. He has a keen interest in both pure and applied mathematics. In particular, beyond the programming skills he uses in his PhD, he has also done research in ocean modelling and has an interest in doing further work in Environmental science. Daniel is interested in an internship to get a feel for applied work in industry that benefits from his mathematical background.
