Chen is a third‑year PhD candidate at the University of Sydney specialising in real‑time motion monitoring to enable precise radiotherapy for head and neck cancer patients. Chen has strong experience in quantitative modelling, data‑driven decision‑making, and medical image analysis, along with leadership skills developed through mentoring students, leading student initiatives, managing tutor teams, and presenting complex technical ideas to diverse audiences.
