As a user of the Australian Mathematical Sciences Institute (AMSI) web site, your privacy is protected by the Information Privacy Act 2000. “AMSI web site” refers to all sites operating under the amsi.org.au domain including the APR.Intern domain aprintern.org.au and are covered by this privacy policy.
AMSI operates within The University of Melbourne, and all information collected by AMSI is governed by the University’s Privacy Policy. APR.Intern is a division of AMSI that operates under AMSI’s organisational structure.

Information collected via the AMSI web site is used to analyse web traffic, monitor event registrations, gather student applications, collect feedback, and to keep you informed about relevant AMSI and/or APR.Intern activities.
Any information collected will only be used by authorised staff for the purpose for which it was collected and is protected against unauthorised access and use.
Information provided by students applying for participation in the APR.Intern program may be passed on to:
- potential industry partners with whom APR.Intern has established a relationship, for the purpose of providing the student with the most appropriate industry research project to match their skill set
- the university that the student has noted in their application where they are enrolled, to verify their eligibility to participate in the APR.Intern program
- reporting to funding partners and government departments providing funding towards internships, where the funding partner and/or government department are noted in the schedule of the internship contract
AMSI and APR.Intern will otherwise not release any personal information to third parties without your consent.
