APR.Intern has partnered with the Defence Science Centre (DSC) WA to accelerate Defence innovation by providing local businesses with access to specialist research expertise.
Under the agreement, DSC will provide eligible Defence businesses with a $10,000 APR.Intern subsidy, which lowers the cost of a full-time PhD student intern by up to 50%. Businesses can utilise this to access academic expertise through APR.Intern’s short-term PhD student placements, fill a skills gap and fast-track projects.
Six subsidies are available, with businesses encouraged to apply as soon as possible to secure.

COMBINE WITH OTHER SUBSIDIES
The DSC subsidy can also be combined with APR.Intern’s new Women in STEM $7,500 subsidy if the business engages a female postgraduate research student intern. Combined, these subsidies lower the cost of a 3-month project to $2,500. Please note that all subsidies are limited in quantity.
