APR.Intern is delighted to announce a new $7,500 Australian Government Women in STEM Subsidy is now available to businesses that engage female postgraduate research interns studying in Science, Technology, Engineering or Maths (STEM) research fields – businesses can be in any industry sector and of any size.

The Subsidy is funded by the Federal Department of Industry, Science & Resources’ Women in STEM & Entrepreneurship (WiSE) grants program, with 113 subsidies available over three years.

Subsidised internship costs:

  • 3-month internship – normally $20,000; now $12,500 after subsidy
  • 4-month internship – normally $23,000; now $15,500 after subsidy
  • 5-month internship – normally $26,000; now $18,500 after subsidy
  • 6-month internship – normally $29,000; now $21,500 after subsidy

The Subsidy is available to both new and existing Industry Partners – all businesses are encourage to apply.
