Professor Ravinesh Deo, from the University of Southern Queensland (USQ), has mentored five PhD students through the APR.Intern program.
Following a successful project between his student, Ekta Sharma, and Defence Science & Technology Group (DST) in February, Professor Deo is now co-leading an innovative research partnership between USQ and DST to develop highly advanced artificial intelligence for a radio system that will transform the way soldiers communicate on the battlefield.
