APR.Intern, AMSI and ANZIAM are pleased to announce a new partnership arrangement with the Mathematics-and-Statistics in Industry Study Group (MISG). The MISG workshop brings together leading mathematicians from universities and industry to tackle complex technical problems facing Australian and New Zealand businesses and industry.
Under this new arrangement, opportunities may be available for APR.Intern industry partners to participate in the MISG each year, as well as potential opportunities for internships with current MISG industry partners.
As part of AMSI’s support for the MISG, academics and researchers from AMSI member institutions may apply for funding from the AMSI travel fund to attend the MISG. Students wishing to attend the MISG can apply for funding through the CSIRO-ANZIAM Student Support Scheme.
