He studies soil fabric's impact on internal erosion, specifically suffusion with DEM-based Particle Flow Code (PFC-3D). Seeking internship to enhance practical skills and academic research, fostering future career prospects. Additionally, participating in an internship can provide him valuable insights and perspectives that enhance their doctoral studies and future career prospects.

In particular, beyond the programming skills he uses in his PhD, he has also done research in ocean modelling and has an interest in doing further work in Environmental science. Daniel is interested in an internship to get a feel for applied work in industry that benefits from his mathematical background.

She wishes to connect her research knowledge to her deep medical background as a previously practicing medical doctor, to explore more industrial pathways after completion of her PhD.
