Kolaia Raisele's research interests are in the fields of youth leadership and civic engagement in the Pacific, Pacific studies, inclusive social development, intangible cultural heritage & sustainable development, and Pacific indigenous knowledge & research methodologies.
Jiayu's educational background in several countries and the interchange of three languages has helped a lot to broaden her horizons and enrich experience. She has a strong interest in gender studies and decolonisation, and she has been working on qualitative analysis in the field of sociology.
Kaitlyn uses agent-based modelling in R to investigate evolutionary mechanisms for her PhD. She has advanced data manipulation and analysis skills in R and SPSS. Kaitlyn is interested in further developing her statistics and programming skills while gaining industry experience.

Mr. Majid Davidson is a PhD student and a medical researcher. His research is focused on the gut-brain axis, methamphetamine-induced depression, and nano-vaccine development. Majid demonstrates excellence in both written and scientific communication. He demonstrates an exceptional ability to analyze research publications and interpret and integrate scientific information. He has demonstrated creativity, initiative, and persistence. He is highly organized and always meets the deadlines well in advance.
Valerio is eager to reinforce multidisciplinary skills relating to pharmaceutical development, testing, optimisation and marketing. Through his research, he has developed knowledge in the field of cancer treatment, including theranostics and cannabinoid therapies, as well as other diseases e.g. inflammation and trypanosomiasis. He is skilled in chemical modelling, chemical synthesis and biological activity testing, and wishes to expand his range of knowledge and skills.
Asad's current research interests include computer vision and machine learning for ecological monitoring applications, especially monitoring bees. He has a diverse research background, is skilled in machine learning and deep learning, and has extensive experience using Python and Matlab for problem-solving.
Amanda Johnson completed her BAppSc in Biotechnology and Molecular biology at The Queensland University of Technology, Australia and has a Masters in Agricultural Science, in Plant protection from the University of Queensland. She worked for Queensland University, the Plant Molecular Laboratory, AgResearch and Sugar Research Australia, until she started her PhD at QUT. Amanda's current work at QUT focuses on fruit tree Genomics in Australian fruit trees to improve breeding time.
