He has demonstrated creativity, initiative, and persistence. He is highly organized and always meets the deadlines well in advance.

Valerio is eager to reinforce multidisciplinary skills relating to pharmaceutical development, testing, optimisation and marketing. Through his research, he has developed knowledge in the field of cancer treatment, including theranostics and cannabinoid therapies, as well as other diseases e.g. inflammation and trypanosomiasis. He is skilled in chemical modelling, chemical synthesis and biological activity testing, and wishes to expand his range of knowledge and skills.

He has a diverse research background, is skilled in machine learning and deep learning, and has extensive experience using Python and Matlab for problem-solving.

Amanda Johnson completed her BAppSc in Biotechnology and Molecular biology at The Queensland University of Technology, Australia and has a Masters in Agricultural Science, in Plant protection from the University of Queensland. She worked for Queensland University, the Plant Molecular Laboratory, AgResearch and Sugar Research Australia, until she started her PhD at QUT. Amanda's current work at QUT focuses on fruit tree Genomics in Australian fruit trees to improve breeding time.
