He is passionate about understanding engineering principles and applied technologies in underrepresented and vulnerable communities in the context of disasters and natural hazards.
Amanda is a PhD student studying non-aqueous carbon capacitors at the University of Newcastle Callaghan. She started working in this area in 2015 and has contributed to and published 9 research papers so far. She is very experienced in electrochemical techniques such as CV, SPECS, EIS and GV. She is interested in taking part in a 3 month industrial internship to improve her industrial experience, but it is also mandatory for her PhD scholarship.

Her skills include advanced levels of data management including systematic literature reviews and data analysis using excel, R and GIS. She seeks the internship to apply her problem-solving and project management skills in complex, multidisciplinary projects with diverse stakeholders.
