Xiaodu’s research interests include time-series and financial econometrics, financial forecasting and applied machine learning. He is also skilled in applied econometrics, econometric theories and machine learning and has extensive experience using Matlab and R-studio. Xiaodu would like to participate in an industry internship to learn more about the application of his research in real-world practice.
Xiaodu holds a Bachelor in Accounting (Hons), MSc Accounting and Financial Management (Finance), Master of Economics (Econometrics) and is currently completing his PhD at Queensland University of Technology.
