Sherry is currently researching energy storage and carbon dioxide capture. His areas of interest include all solid state batteries, fuel cells, Lithium sulfur batteries and the study of silicon as anode material for Li-ion batteries. He has strong skills in synthesising, assembling and testing batteries.
Furthermore, Sherry has hands on experience of multiple characterisation techniques such as EIS, XRD, SEM, and DSC.
He has previous industry internship experience and would like to further polish his ability to apply knowledge and transform lab results into commercial success.
Sherry has a Master’s degree in Chemistry and a Bachelor of Science degree majoring in Engineering.
