Emad’s research interests include seismic data acquisition and processing, seismic while drilling, and distributed acoustic sensing.
These interests are applicable to a wide range of applications in the resources sector, but he is mainly focusing on applications for the mining industry during his PhD. He is also skilled in programming mostly using MATLAB and Python, and had a broad knowledge of machine learning applications in geoscience. Emad is keen on opportunities to apply his research commercially.
