A partnership between APR.Intern and the NSW Defence Innovation Network (DIN) will accelerate Defence innovation by providing local businesses with access to specialist research expertise.
Under the agreement, DIN will provide 30 Defence businesses with a $10,000 APR.Intern subsidy to help fill skills gaps and fast-track R&D. The businesses will be matched with PhD students from Australia’s leading universities, and benefit from APR.Intern’s short-term results-driven research placements.
This subsidy can be combined with the Australian Government rebate.
These internships will contribute to placements delivered under the Australian Government’s ‘Supporting more women in STEM careers: Australian Mathematical Sciences Institute (AMSI)—National Research Internship Program (NRIP)’.
