Message from the National Program Manager

Dear Interns, Industry Partners and Universities,

I am writing to introduce myself as the new National Program Manager for APR.Intern and to provide you with guidance on the COVID-19 situation as it applies to PhD student internships.

While evolving advice from State and Federal Government is being closely monitored, APR.Intern staff are operating business as usual; the team dedicated to supporting all parties involved in an internship during these rapidly changing circumstances.

Interns have been advised, in the first instance, to remain up to date with the COVID-19 policy of their industry partner and home university, and ensure both sets of guidelines are followed.

If an internship is impacted by COVID-19, students are encouraged to contact APR.Intern as soon as possible so we can support them if variations are required with the industry partner and/or university.

A student’s best point of contact is either the internship’s direct APR.Intern Facilitator or a Support Team Member, who may be reached on contact@aprintern.org.au / (03) 8344 1785. During this time, meetings will be restricted to phone, Zoom or Skype.

Please do not hesitate to contact our team if you have any questions at all.

With best wishes,

Lisa Farrar
National Program Manager
